The specialists here are passionate about their work and really know what they're doing and how to work on your specific vehicle.   I’ve been bringing my lifted Jeep to REV Outfitters in Boulder for the past four years, and they consistently deliver top-notch work. Izsak and the entire team are fantastic to work with. They are exceptionally knowledgeable, especially Izsak, who always takes the time to thoroughly answer any questions I have and they are completely upfront about costs every step of the way. I also love how easy it is to contact them directly, unlike a dealership where you have to jump through hoops and go through a ton of different people just to talk to a specialist. I just had some repairs done on my lifted Jeep, and thanks to their hard work, it's driving better than ever. If you're looking for a trustworthy local shop that knows what they're doing, especially when it comes to custom or lifted setups, I can't recommend them enough!

Jeeps Make Great Off Road and Overland Vehicles

For 80 years the Jeep_® Brand has been indelibly linked to freedom, adventure, authenticity and passion. Let's face it, Jeep has dominated the off road scene for years and for good reasons. Even if you are not a Jeep fan (shame on you), you have to admit that their raw capability right out of the factory is impressive. Couple that with the abundance of lift kits and aftermarket products, you can create an awesome performing recreational escape vehicle. The Jeep badge stands for more than a brand. In truth, it’s a badge of honor.

Jeep Models

TJ/LJ

The TJ had a retro-look very similar to the CJ-7, but was very different from a mechanical standpoint. Nearly 80 percent of the vehicle parts were newly designed. The biggest engineering change on the TJ was the new Quadra-Coil™ suspension, which replaced standard leaf-springs and provided a greatly improved on-road ride. Off-road capabilities were enhanced with increased axle articulation, ground clearance and more aggressive approach and departure angles.

The Unlimited model adds five inches of rear overhang but having less space in the mid-body. The Unlimited is unofficially known by fans as the “LJ”.

JK/JKU

This model has the signature round headlamps, iconic seven-slot grille, solid axles, removable doors, exposed hinges, fold-down windshield, innovative removable and convertible tops all honor Jeep_® Brand heritage.

Featuring a one-of-a-kind, four-door open-air design, the Wrangler (JK) represents the most seamless integration of off-road ruggedness and passenger luxury in its 70 plus years of Jeep_® Brand history.

JL/JLU

The biggest change was the tranny. The new 8 speed transmission with better gear ratios allowed for better performance with the same engine.

Multiple open-air configurations were made simple with lightweight doors and easy ways to remove its roof. T

The ultimate power plant was introduced: 392 - 6.4L HEMI^® V8 with 470 horsepower and 470 pound-feet of torque.

4xe is the first electrified Wrangler built powered by a 2.0L I4 DOHC direct-injection Turbo PHEV with a claimed 49 MPG.

JT

Jeep reintroduced the Jeep Truck (JT) after 32 years. Offering the 3.6L gas and 3.0L eco diesel and increased tow capacity. Keeping the JLU cosmetics and cabin, the JT offers versatility and trail capability.

The JT is a great overland vehicle option.

XJ/MJ

Back in the day...it was "just" a family SUV - boasting the first compact four-door SUV, first uniframe construction, and first full-time 4x4 system with shift-on-the-fly capability.

Today, it has a cult following and allows trail enthusiasts to build an off road vehicle without a lot of money.
